The Idiyappam shown in the picture was made using Home Made Roasted Red Rice Flour which my Mom sent from Kerala for making Puttu 🙂 Idiyappam is usually garnished with Coconut and Sugar.It is served with some nice gravy like Chicken Curry, Vegetable Stew, Egg Curry and so on. Then add thick coconut milk, heat it and remove from flame. Do not boil or cook for a long time once you add thick coconut milk as the mixture might curdle. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add curry leaves and pour it over the sodhi.
